Profile

Chris joined Exergy in 2003 and has established himself as a key member of the Exergy team. Over this time, Chris has successfully carried out a number of high profile roles, such as an expert advisor for the Solar Cities Program and as an industry expert (commercial sector) for the Australian Government’s Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEO) program. Chris has taken the lead role in a number of large Exergy projects, including both retrofit and construction upgrade programs within property portfolios and led the rollout of NABERS Energy (ABGR) assessments and upgrade strategies for several major clients.

In addition to his experience with practical energy efficiency, Chris also has a sound knowledge of statistical analysis. Chris has been actively involved in the ongoing development of performance benchmarking tools for greenhouse emissions and water consumption, including work on NABERS Office, NABERS Home, NABERS Hotels and NABERS Retail.

Chris has accreditation as an ABGR Level 2 Auditor, and as a Green Star Professional, with experience of working with design teams to achieve ratings under these programs. In addition to design advice, Chris brings a strong focus on the effective handover and operation of a building, to assist in achieving real performance outcomes over the course of a building’s life.
