Profile

Geoff is contracted to work for Exergy through Northrop Engineers. He has thirty years experience in mining, power generation and engineering consulting having worked for Rowco Products in Melbourne; Territory Enterprises at Rum Jungle in the Northern Territory; Minenco in Melbourne and Paraburdoo, and Detroit Engine and Turbine Company in Adelaide prior to joining Lincolne Scott Australia in Adelaide in 1977.

Experience with Lincolne Scott Australia included design engineer in their Adelaide office, Electrical Associate in the Sydney office and finally manager of their Darwin office from 1982 to 1984 prior to the formation of Medley Grijmans Flowers Pty Ltd in Darwin in 1984.

Geoff was one of three directors of the firm Medley Grijmans Flowers Pty Ltd, which traded from 1984 until 1989 when the partnership was dissolved following resignation of one of the directors. Geoff continued to operate the practice of Medley & Associates Pty Ltd, (trading as MGF Consultants) until 1997 when the practice was amalgamated with Concept Consultants Australia Pty Ltd and Geoff relocated to Perth.

Geoff held the position of Manager — Commercial Division of Concept Consultants Australia Pty Ltd, Perth and was their Principal Electrical Engineer from 1997 until 2000 when he joined Exergy Group Pty Limited in Canberra.

Currently Geoff is sub-contracted to Exergy from Northrop Engineers on an as required basis.
