Profile

Leon began working part time at Exergy in mid 2006 while completing the final year of his Engineering Degree at ANU. Since finishing his degree Leon has been working full time.

During his time at Exergy Leon has been involved in a number of commercial office and industrial energy audits. He has completed energy audits at a diverse range of sites including a timber mill, printing press, commercial laundry and for a fleet of mining vehicles. Leon now operates independently as a lead auditor for commercial office projects.

As well as developing practical skills, Leon has worked extensively on benchmark development projects. Leon has been involved in re-setting the tropical ABGR rating bands and the development of the NABERS Hotels energy and water rating tools. Additionally Leon has created benchmark models for many investment grade audit projects. These models are applied to energy performance contracts where the energy savings are contractually guaranteed.

Leon is an ABGR assessor and an accredited Green Star Professional.
